If it's just the edges haven't you been running them a little soft??
You can't have ulimate grip and good wear. F1's are the best out there.

All the guys over on Astra Sport say Goodyear Eagle F1 are the jobs to go for.
I'm running the stock Pirelli P6000 on my Corsa - they're not great. Good enough grip, but tend to tramline like a bugger.

It's like this - why put on cheap tyres when the tyre is the only thing that keeps your car on the road. The number of accidents I've nearly had thanks to shitty tyres just letting go when they shouldn't have. That's why I always spend a fair amount on tyres now.
Road Champ, Marshall, Regal, Tigar etc shouldn't be allowed into the country. al dangerous rubbish.

lol never heard of them, deciding over some falken 451s or toyos, i know most of you say toyos are crap but ive read a few reviews that say that wet handling is good etc etc

Deffinatly get Uniroyal rainsports, i had them on my 16's and now my 17's and they are brilliant in wet and dry.
They also wear well, i drive quite a lot and my old ones still have tread after 18 months...
