Went to halfords and they show 2 types of battery for the corsa.

My current battery is 350 cranking amps and old. I suffer from a lot of dimming when stereo is played too.

The 2 halfords sell are

400 cranking amps and a 560 cranking amps version, which is bigger.

In there book it says it will fit corsa B, but i dont have much room in the engine bay. Does anyone with a 16v engine have one of these bigger batteries??

And is it worth the £60 to get the new one?

well i'd a thought the battery tray woulda been the same for all corsa B's ??? (don't quote me on this !!) Also, the 560 CCA battery sounds like a calcium one which has a 4 year guarentee, so would be worth payin the extra just to get that i'd a thought. As said before, try an get a diesel battery in there !!!!

From my local motor factors. Its also the same battery used in the diesel Golfs (old type).

You should be able to get them from any Exide Battery stockist.
