today, a little 30 min job turned into a 9 hour job and stil not done!!! wel i failed MOT because of excess play in track rod end, easy enough to replace! tried taking it off and it was well untruely stuck on! so in the atempt to get it off we managed to put a hole in the CV boot next job was to get one from scrappy, then atempt to put new one on.!! well all went well, and we used the old clips to hold them on, BAD idea! we thought they were tight, but when i drove home, it all came apart and grease EVERYWHERE!! the CV boot popped open now its sitting in my garage, till i get NEW clips tomorrow!!!
CV boots r only held on by two clips?? because it doesnt seem secure enough

Yes, I think one small and one large clips. I dunno but jubilee clips might hold it till you get the right tool.
I noticed today that one of the engine mount bolts had, jumped ship, and the other two holding on by the tips. I was sure I told my dad to tighten those, but it was a month ago we did the engine conversion haha.

I would'nt personally though.
