the vets almost sure that it was a car that hit him, because of the injuries, but this happened saturday night. Mum was shouting him in & he came in & hid under the cupboard, and when she found him he was real messed up so rushed him to the vets. he been there since!

they had to wait till today to examine him properly though & sort anything out, as he wasn't stable enough to do anything to till now.

I didnt think you would get such a response from this thread dude, i know how u feel, my old cat had cancer, had a growth removed from its leg, when it got home it ran outside then ran up our garden fence, all its stitches came undone and it was limping around - I've never cried so much in my life!!!

My mum swore she would never get any more after our last cat died because we always get way too attached, specially when they get older, my cat was 16 when it died, i'd had it ever since i was a toddler.

Hope he gets better - keep uo updated

Cheers Ian

Ally - was suprised myself at the response!

I've only ever had 3 cats & 1 dog, first cat I had was called Gemma, had her from a kittne & i was only about 3 when we got her, when I was 7 she went missing & was found under the next doors caravan, vet said she was poisened (we knew who did it aswell) She used to sleep on my bed each night & never let anyone near me at night, not even my mum!

Dog was called Fred, we got him as a pup while we still had gemma, he was mentaly retarded, had the mind of a pup even when he was 14, couldnt train him or anything, but was the best guard-dog ever! he died of cancer at 14 was well upset

Smudge was last cat before tux, she adopted us, just started sleeping in the greenhouse at night & then snook in the house one night - we kept her since! she was treated badly by her previous owners so was why she came to us I guess! When we moved, she stayed with my nan & she died earlier this year of old age & cancer she used to curl up on my nans feet aswell!

Then theres tux, had him since a kitten last january & everyone who has met him has fallen in love with him, biggest softy around! just feel like shit cos of how young he is & what happened

I'll get some pics of him when he comes home from the vets, but he will be lookin a bit rough! I cleaned his cheese before for him to sleep in (its a big soft cheese-shaped cat bed), aswell as his box he claimed as hisown when we got a new TV!
