Anyone from round southend or south east essex?do u know of any places that do cheap alloy mesh for bumpers etc? was told metal fabricators can get it cheap, instead of gettin a sheet from halfords or summin for like 18 quid! any help or numbers cheers,yell.com is jus crap!

I found some stuff in B&Q, they do all sorts of sheet metal, in various sizes up to 100x50cm. They also do the mesh type metal you get at halfords for about £5-10 depending, steel is cheaper.

wont steel mesh rust over time or shud i not worry bout it. can always be replaced i suppose. cheers i will have a look in b&q tomorro durin college

Well you can get steel, aluminium or stainless, the last two the most expensive but wont need rust proofing.

excellent cheers mate. will have a look see wot i can find. i dnt need mass amount so prob go for ally or stainless jus to cause less hassle later on
