is this hard to do, ive seen it done and it looks much tidier than wot i have in mine(ecotec pipe with adapter plate)
i have heard stories of cutting part of the bulkhead, also heard theres a different sfi box that has squares on the top of it that does fit is this true?
sorry for all the questions last one now, is there any way of fitting an airbox to the corsa with a 20xe in, i hate my induction kit!
Cheers, Chris

fair enough, you may need to get the angle grinder out but its possible if you wanna do it.
i am not sure about the 2 types of sfi box though, there may be a difference in size

it wont fit unless you hack a big chunk out of the bulkhead, simple as.

i believe astra gte's came with the squares on the box, and these are marginally smalle than the cav/cally ones with the stripes.
you can chop off the back of the box and remake it with fibreglass, or chop the bulkhead about to allow it in.
i know of 2 corsas with the sfi in.
i'll try to find pics

IT's less BHP, but better tourque with the SFI box attatched to the engine... I might use mine, for a more tider installation, or make some intake pipes out of aluminium and use an induction kit - so it looks tidy

it is sinkyboys car, he has SFi box without cutting the bulkhead I THINK. not 100% sure tho, but i think that he did something to the engine mounts so it sits further forward

it is sinlboys car and there was no cuttin of the bulk head he jst cut the back of the box and plastic welded a paint tray to the back and made it fit. Also as he made his own custom engine mounts his engine sits a bit further forwards than most valver corsas.
Deffo much better to have the SFi box as it acts as a torque chamber due to the larger surface area than the ecotech pipe and power cap.
i want to have this done at some point deffo worth it as sinkboy was running 14.8 standing qaurters on 17's with it and its since gone lower now he runs 15's
