hey guys, hope ur all well
i came here to tenerife on friday and now my boyfriend has fractured his wrist and fingers in five places
does anyone know what will happen to him - i´m so scared for him, has to have operation today
worst holiday ever

I think even the spanish have good doctors he should be in good hands sorry for the pun but i have seen holiday programs where they have operated on children and they have been fine  i hope this helps you Lee

he will have to have it amputated
so long as you have insurance there is nothing to worry about. he will be taken care of by the hospital

we once went to menorca and my dad got ill with pneumonia and pleurasy. he was well looked after.

I imagine they are operating on his wrist as really not much they can do for finger  But yeah all will be fine

Hey guess wot, i did exactly the same thing last week in Menorca. "Fell down the stairs" "sober", n e way taken to hospital, operated on, got 3 pins holding wrist together, cast, 5 stitches on chin, really swollen face shoulder leg.
Luckily one of my friends is working out there and has had to do it with guests so he was jonny on the spot with insurance and ringing family etc...
Doctors were o.k, didnt wash me at all so i left smelling worse then the doctor! Picked up a nasty fungal infection as well fcuking daegos cnt be bothered to clean properly gggrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I did mine first nite, stayed in intensive care for day and a bit then up to ward for three days. Then they let me out. Had to pay a 114€ excess on my insurance, but i didnt care i hust wanted out.
Get the welfare/translator to go through all the info they give you on discharge, i didnt work out i had a prescription for pain killers, anti-inflamitaries etc for a good day and a bit. I could have really done with them as well, alcohol wasnt numbing the pain
It fucked my hol up and my life for nxt 2 monthe, plus i cant goto gym
. If he gets out before you fly home just make the most of it, get out of the hotel room and do usual stuff. (i even managed a bar crawl on the last nite. kareoke, pole dancing-forgot to take any medication by accident )
