got a USB cable with software CD of ebay from company called webtronics, they seemed pretty legit and safe plus it was cheap 
i got NOKIA 6230,
connected the cable and installed the program which is apparently for the nokia 3300! but says should be compatable!!
anway the program only starts up if the phone is NOT connected!!! and soon as i connect it the program crashes or doesnt start!!
what could be wrong??

Try a demo copy of the newest Oxygen Phone Manager 2, it's great software.

it seems the drivers for my phone are not on the CD which is why the program probly dont work?!!!
anybody know were i can get the driver/program from??

You got to install the driver that comes with the cable before you install the phone manager software... But that still doesn't work form what I have found out... When I go into phone browser I cannot view my Galery, so I can't upload any MP3's... Whats this about Oxygen?

ok ive found the right driver on the net and downloaded and installed it
now i just need a Audio program that is compatible with my Nokia 6230???

Well... I'm 'obtaining' a copy of Oxygen Phone Manager 2, i'll let you know if that works better than Nokia's offering...

what do you mean copy it to my 6230??
i cant transfer anything to the phone or vise versa??
