Ryt.. this is so damn stupid.. but i ent got a clue...
do all car cd players play CD-R's? or do they have to have the spec to play CD-R?
Cause went down halfords.. and not too sure if the cheap ones play CD-R's, cause they dont note it...
Thanks

I've never come across a car CD player that wouldn't play CD-Rs. Aslong as they're written properly (as an Audio CD, and finalised) they should be fine.
But check if you're unsure.

all cd players play cd-r but not all play cd-rw's
if the unit is not designed to play cd-r's it does put the laser under strain after about a year... and you might find it does'nt work or works intermittently (sp)

had an ld alpine that didnt like reading cdr's, it would take a few minutes to actually start playing a song and if the road bumped and the cd skipped it wouldnt find the song again. worked markedly better with more expensive cdr's designed for music with a more opaque coating on top
