shit mate gutted for you, maybe worth while keeping the car and spending some major money on it while its off the road at least when you get your license bk you'll have a roadworthy vehicle and seriously modded motor and wont have to start again! thats what i was planning on doing i was gonna get an astra and mod it when i was told i was gettin my license revoked then the engine blew again on the corsa so i decided to rebuild that before i sold it!!!

If your banned for a year...I would personally sell it m8..Even though u could mod it etc over that year it's still sitting there doing feck all and would be a temtation to jump in and and go for a wee run...

Mavs talking sense there never thought of it like that with a years ban mind i can sit my test whenever i want! so i can just leave my car alone knowing that i can pass my test anytime and it's there mind you with two wheels on it and half an engines it's kinda hard to drive it the now anyways!!!

finally you see sense mate if your dad has offered to run you to work why not just transfer the car into his name and the insurance (will no doubt save you a hell of alot of money) and keep it that way you keep your car and you can save up for some mods when you get it back as long as your parents have the keys and stop the temptation of you driving it! i know i have been tempted to drive the corsa or the mondeo when the keys are in my possesion and nobodys about
But your folks must stop you from driving it or you'll end up with another ban! If your dads quite happy to pay for day to day running till you come off your ban then i cant see why you cant keep it as long as he's using it and keeps the keys away from you you'll be safe!
