aiming for 220 to 230 bhp initialy :¦

its basically the follwing SBD kit with diff TB's, but bigger cc

TP225 Kit
For 2.0 Litre 16V XE & LN Engine
Exhaust manifold type needed to run this with this kit *C-2.0L-XE

The TP225 kit was designed for our customers who liked the TP208 Kit and wished to retain the ultra smooth power delivery without losing any driveability. We managed to achieve this by developing a pair of hydraulic cam profiles with a reasonable increase in duration but high lift to obtain what was needed. Due to the high lift cams the kit includes special springs, caps & spring platforms. We also modify your standard pistons by deepening the standard valve pockets to accommodate the higher lift profiles. If your current pistons are worn they can be replaced with Omega high compression pistons, these already have deeper valve pockets & with their increased compression help to boost torque to over 180 lbft & raise the peak BHP to just under 230.

This kit still allows you to retain the use of the standard Bosch Cream Injectors, Part No.0280 150 744, as fitted to the 2.0L XE engine. As with all our tuning kits, they are designed to be built up by adding on components to your existing TP208 kit. This will enable you to upgrade by adding all the additional components, either in one purchase, or by spreading the cost over several seasons' competition.

When ordering your kit you should specify whether your car is front, rear or mid engine layout. We produce different wiring harnesses to suit each application.

hoping to get a sub 14 1/4 on its first attempt.... and i'd be happy with anything near a 13.5 for the 1st spec

Have u got the pistons and injectors?

i want to aim for about 200/220 bhp........

i might cheat tho and get some NOS ............not sure.

am thinking get a high mileage 20xe and have it put it, then leave it standard until it needs a rebuild or it breaks....then get busy with it

i also want interior tho

Std cranks tend to crack if revved over 8k on a regular basis, you have been warned.
