Anyhow, just got some new mods fitted today!
Simota Ram Carbon Airbox plugged into a front mounted filter! Looks good eh! What do you think? PS. If anyone would like one of these simota carbon jobbies then let me know (1.4/1.616v models only). I can get you one brand new for £130. Comes complete with cold air feed and all the bits and bobs to install it. Has a K/N style filter inside. Fuck the viper kits GET THESE!

^ The front mounted filter was designed for a civic but they are very expensive
It has a front perspex shield to stop it getting damaged but I cut a few extra air holes. This setup seriously sucks harder than a cheap whore from bangok!

the front mounted filters have been proven to be turd. is it a fully enclosed one, or is it just protected front and back?

Absolutely brilliant! Had a pipercross one before and I must say it's got rid of ALL the flatspots.

the filter is in that tube thing that say's 'simota' on it. A air pipe goes from the front bumper to tube thing, which is connect to the car.

its a kinda pannel filter that sits behind the front bumper, then a long pipe connects to the intake.
they dont really to feck all, just look 'different'.
waste of money IMO
he is just advertising these to make a bit of money.
