I have given up with clear lights as they are a rubbish fit.
I want to spray my original lights the colour of the car.
I am using a compressor and have bought all paint and laquer needed.
Any tips and pics would be great
Do I need to use a clear primer first and where would I get that from.
Cheers for any help and pics

Like someone said in that thread you need reflectors as they won't be legal without. I didn't spray them as I'm selling the car. Just use a very thin coat of your colour and then say twice as much lacquer. Don't go ott on the paint tho.

Dont mix too much base with lacquer, its much easier to give them 4 thin coats, than 1 coat which is too dark

Instead of putting on a thin coat of paint and then laquer,
I was told I should mix 50/50 paint and laquer and then put a coupleof coats on using my compressor.
Cheers for and help.
The big attempt is tomorrow.....

rite to colour code the rear lights u need to add 5-10% colour to the total mix of the laquer to get te rit effect and still be able to let the light through
