I won a competition with Munch Bunch ice lollies(rember them lol) then we flew to Lapland for the day.

i flew on concorde form Paris to LHR nearly 10 years ago now, so i would of been 9. shame then i didnt realise just how lucky i was.

Nah, i've worked both these aircraft,i agree the intakes on the tail are differnet and the tail in general but to someone who doesnt know aircraft i doubt they'd notice to be honest! everything else is identical or not different enough for a novice to tell the differnece shape wise, and when knowing nothtng the tails are similar enough to look the same, ony real dif is the fiarings and tail construction below the number 3 engines
i know engineers who, if they dont work the types have mixed the two up from site at a distance ie across the pan
just my opinion like, not saying your wrong or i'm right!

i guess you are right, same with the MD11 too. I am aware that some dc10-40's were retrofitted with winglets to improve long range performance
