i got a 2 week ban and no points, for no insurance
and no it was an insurance company fook up, wrong number plate

I got caught doing an average speed of 110mph in scotland. I had about 3 weeks left in my 2 year probation. I was told I would have to resit my test and everything. Instead got a 3 month ban and £150 fine. A friend @ work just went over his 6 points and he does have to resit theory and practical again. You also start your two year probation again. Good luck.

you loose your license, within a week dvla will contact you and tell you that you are now a learner again, so need to retake theory and test again. and the price is the same as it is not classed as a disqualiification. insurance isnt highly affected aswell. it took me 5 months tho to get back on the road but apart from that not much to worry about, even tho instead of having a clean license i still have the points
