My opinion is definatly get rid of the stickers, look extremely tacky and lets down the work you have done.
Either remove the side strips of get some post 97 ones and colour code them. Would get some nice mirrors, Steinmetz ones would look sweet and definatly add to the car. I would get some 16's too and drop it 50mm, not a huge change but will defo change the look of the car for the better.
The boot handle needs colour coding atleast, or maybe even removed. A solenoid wouldnt be hard to fit and come for at most a tenner so there is no real excuse for your dad to get confused. Would keep the number plate where it is though, consider removing the wiper but your previous idea of a Fiat wiper would work well also.
