I know :S That said... we are both still left with £500 a month or so spare each We both earn similar amounts (£40k + combined) so we pay everything 50/50

Well we have a 95% mortgage but we had £8.5k to put down - 5% - but the house company paid our 5% deposit for us so we have used the money for other things (some furnishings & wedding fund)

£80 board and lodge
£50 car insuance (but its paid off in one go as i save money up as it cheaper)
£15 mobile contract
£80-100 petrol
And im on just over £800 P/M as a 2nd year apprentice.
So i got roughly £550 a month to save/spend which aint bad for my age. But ive been taught to look after my money by my parents and i will deffo will not get into any finance ever if i can help it (except for mortgauge obviously)
And also Gym £16 a month
