air will always take the easy route, so tidy those cables up. fit round ide cables which can be bought cheaply online. use insulating table on the power cable it the drives to tidy them up and allow air to pass them without obstruction.
also if you have two fans at the rear( psu and vent) then you want 2 fans blowing the same amount in at the front. this method keeps the ar moving from front to back with out much turbulence.

PCI coolers are useless, not worth the money IMO
Just cut another hole in the side & fit another fan

I have a PCI cooler in one of my older systems are works alright. The prob with them is you need to have good air flow to shift the heat

right i gota bit bored recently so i thought id mess about with the PC!! first i did this, it looked crap........
the metal didnt like the jigsaw and went all bent and fooked, so i got rid of that, and decided to make a WHOLE perspex side:
and while i was at it, i thought id make a top aswel........
and i also tried to tidy up the cables with some stuff i found round the house.....
but it dont look too bad in the dark.........
im waiting on 1 more LED fan which is going in the back, and another black standard one, but im yet to decide where im gona put that!
i still haven cut the whole 4 the front, need the drill piece! but its not bad for summin 2 do when im bored
