We know alot of people will prob say dont even bother tryin to do it if u havent done it b4 but if we dont try it then we arent gonna get to learn how to do it are we. every1 has to start somewhere but thing is are we gonna be well out of our depths with this job! Just to give me an idea. heard its easy to do in the corsa so thought why not have a go wot u lot reckon?!

it made love to my foot.. ..
didnt hurt tho..
i suggest for those that dont have a spring compresser.
undo the shock from the brake unit. then put a jack under it jack the shock up, unto the nut at the top let it down slowly,
reduce damage of car and you..

I changed the suspension on mine and converted it to coilovers, first major techanical job that ive done all on my own and it turned out fine. Get the tracking done as soon as possible afterwards though. I didnt realise how much of a difference it would make, and left it a couple of weeks, in which time both my front tyres were almost bald.

get a torq wrench so you can tighten all the nuts up to the rite torq; or if you can't get one just get a really long socket handle and a length of steel tube for leverage!! (only jokin' - mustn't over-tighten, just as bad as not tight enuf!)
