Yes you just get ripped off
I would never take out a loan other than a mortgage!

Whats the rush? Save up like everyone else - why give someone your money for nothing but an expensive advance in return??

bollocks.
had loads of loans over the years..and all paid off now.But I wanted or needed i would take another one out...
if you KNOW you can make payments and take out repayment/illness insurance why not..
why wait 3 years to get something when you can get it now..
just do not overstrectch your self on payments..
be realistic and shop around for quotes..
how the hell do you think all those other ppl afford things...some might save up or have plentyof cash but not most ppl...
why not save up then and get a house..cause you want it now..thats whats loans are for...(and i know houses usually go up in value and cars go down blah blah..before somebody says it)
Be sensible though

Exactly, id much rather wait and save for something rather than borrow from the bank, especially for a car which is only going to depreciate and lose you even more money.
Save up and pay cash up front, you know it makes sense

Bit different tho Mav, I could walk into the bank tomorrow and get a loan to buy say a Mitsi Evo 8.........Im not going to tho, theres being sensible and theres being stupid. If its only say about £1k over a year if you really want something then yeah go for it.......I just dont see the point of getting big loans to spend on cars that aint gonna be worth jack shit once you paid it off 4 years down the line

I know people that get loans to modify cars, I done this once...never again
Idiots that get themselves so many loans and credit cards just so they have what they think is the best car.
But after all the money from the loan has gone they are unable to drive it due to having no money for petrol.
Idiots, don't do it.
Do what I done, do it monthly bit by bit.
