Hey guys, just got my HU and components delivered - The HU is a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP. I just need to know 2 things really...
1 - Where can I get the steering stalk adapter? I've tried looking at all the usual sites, but I can't find one that'll work with my HU.
2 - Are there any other adapters that I will need, like for the aerial?? I took some pictures of what came with the HU already - http://gooner47.fotopic.net/c243878.html
I aint got a clue about these things so I don't know what those are and what else I need to buy, thanx 4 ne help

you might need to buy an adaptor for the ariel if you dont have a pin/jack type plug on it. These are available from motorworld for bout £2. As for the steering thin try bassjunkies.co.uk

ok, thx 4 those links, checked em out -
bassjunkies.co.uk - these guys don't do pioneer stalk adapters at all..
caraudiodirect.co.uk - these guys say u need 2 seperate parts, the radio interface (which they've got 4 my model hu) - and the vehicle interface, but the only one they've got says this -
"This vehicle interface fits the following models:
Vauxhall Astra 1999(T) to 2000(W)
Vauxhall Omega 1994(M) to 2000(W)
Vauxhall Sintra 1999(T) onwards
Vauxhall Vectra 1995(N) onwards
Vauxhall Zafira 1999(T) onwards"
...No Corsa listed, as ya can c

I've just fitted an alpine 9812RB, sure I miss the volume control but the head unit is so nice i dont mind reaching over and touching the polished aluminium dial plus i got a remote for it.
Your new head unit plays MP3 right? do you really want to be scanning through every track using the controls on your wheel? or use the simple nav buttons on the H/U to find your track instantly?

Good point.. hadn't thought about that. The only thing it'd b ne gud 4 is the volume and switchin thru radio stations, it won't work with file and folder search for mp3/wma etc...
May jst leave this 4 now and get it sorted at a later date with the local ice store (If I decide I'm def 2 lazy 2 lean over 4 volume )
