Mine was an absolute tit to get out!!!
Got it out in the end and saw that some of the pins/flaps that hold it in place got bend over backwards beacuse i was trying so hard to get it out!
No way was i paying vauxhall to do it!!!

They're gnna have 2 take the dash apart i reckon.. I've tried just the glovebox and the panel under the steering wheel, and I still couldn't get it out - so if Trucido's right and itz sumthin on the top of the cage, they'll have 2 take the dash off or sumthin.

cant you slip something thin onto the top of the stereo? so that it bends any intruding pins backwards?

go and drink some beer, lots of, so it feels like you've got lots of strength and you cant feel your fingers.
Then try and take out your stereo.

Outta curiosity, how much is the fascia to allow you to use an aftermarket HU in the corsa c?
Can you only get it from vauxhall or do other places do it cheaper?

Halfords do one for about £15, but they're cheap and shoddy and might not match the colour of your trim.
The one from Vaux is £25 and comes in 3 colours.

^^^ wot dave said...
I ordered mine from Vaux yesterday for £25, u can have silver, charcoal, or metallic charcoal. Better off goin with Vaux I reckon - just to make absolutely sure it'll fit perfect and be the exact colour.
