Right my corsa is giving me some really bad hassle, i really don't know where to start with it go to drive it drives fine cold soon as it warms up it coughs and splutters and push a silly amount of black smoke out of the exhaust, put my foot on the throttle she dies, start it back up go to pull of does not want to pull at all judders starts to die again, when i go to rev it its sounds and smells like its over fueling also take the oil cap off the head its smells strongly of fuel inside, its got a mind of its own even revs on its own and the top end is sounding rough very cam so i think the cam is shot

im losing it slowly so far i have change the plugs leads oil filter oil itself give it a engine flush

It's overfuelling, check lambda sensor and replace if necessary...

the temp sensor fixed the problem.

Not sure on temp sensor, Lambda sensor is the little thing that sticks out of the exhaust manifold at the front...

not to sure were the temp sensor is located.. i'm prettyu sure its sticking out of the block someware.

both not too expensiveand i think i have a spare 1.2 8v temp sensor in me garage

the problem might be down to u giving it an engine flush, not a gd thing to do.

If it's any of those things, bare in mind you can get a whole new 1.2 8v engine fore about £80. Sad really isn't it...

^wouldnt go change the engine just yet though

but it is one sad piece of junk.... try the temp sensor first would be what i'd do.

if yer mechanicall minded its easy.... if not theres a chap on here that will do them for around the 700 quid mark.
