I have some *.avi video files, out of the four 1 of them works correctly in Media Player 9, the other three try and connect to CODEC servers, and fail to download codecs
Can anyone help me with getting the right codecs or whatever so that I can watch these
Also, does anyone know where I can get an MPEG convertor so that I can put them onto Video CD?
Thanks

google for the nimo codec pack (v5 build 7, works a treat), install that and it should solve alot of problems
as for burning the films to VCD, you can use nero to do it However, if the film is over 60mins/70mins etc then you will need to split the film across two CDs, in which case have a look at www.videohelp.com for info about stuff etc
