right been too manchester this moring and back (260miles)
and my car dies when i went too restart it, the fuel pump ISNT running, and there is no power at the connection block into the pump...
could this be a relay??
if so is it the purple 1 where the ecu IS?
BTW 1.2 8v 98 (r)

i think theres a fuse
pump has died?
i have a spare fuel pump you can have cheap mate.

ive checked all my fuses.
ive tried putting a direct 12v into the pump but no luck it dont run, im getting a pump tommrow all being well that scrappies open :/
just need 2 no if theres anything else

sounds like the pump is stuffed
i have one and ill beat the scrappys price beacuse i want rid of it i have no use for it you see

right, went too scrappies this morning got a pump and relay.
put it all in tested it without connecting it, it ran.
put it all toegther didnt work!!!
took it out put it bk.. checked all connections.
DIDNT WORK!
started to get in there with the multi-meter. power all the way upto the connector no further. hmm went bk too scrappies got the connection block came back. nothing. no power down too the pump. in the end i took apart the connection block put it back together and now it works!
strange or what, it was all clan too cant work it out.

insulate the wire going to the connector
they can crack/break down after time and short
