I'm thinking of adding a sub + amp to my car.
Lets say I bought a JL Audio 10W3v2 ( http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/10w3v2.html# ), which is 300W RMS. I was looking at amps to power this, and I came across the Alpine MRD-M301 ( http://www.alpine-europe.com/alpine/cms/details.php?p=310&details=1 ).
Now I thought 350W RMS at 2 ohms... great. However it seems that is only at 14.4V, and at 12V you would only get 250W. So what I wanted to know is would I be better off getting a more powerful amp to power this sub?
