hey i am in trouble i rekon i think iave bent the pillar above the door! i was just had an acciedent in my corsa freshly kitted and i ave just distroyed the front bumper but if anyone knos weather this is gonna be a right off ...


i am expecting the worst

the a pilar that goes up the side of the windscreen and across the top of the door?

if so its fucked. strip it all of it sell the bits and get what you can.

if the roof or a pillar is bent its fucked
insurace will write it off unless its less than 12 month old

gutted for you m8 but like adam-d said thats probebly the hardest and structually important panel that you seem to have damaged which aint good.

The bodyshop you had the work done at orginally may quote on a repair for it otherwise strip it and start a fresh

Insurance will only write it of if the damage costs more than 70% of the cars value, and thats from the Insurance recomended fixers (cost more).

My dad had a XK8 which he crash and the car had to be lifted and taken away as it was not drivable (the front end was taken off) but becuase the dammage was under 70% it was not a write off.
