The technique is to basically make sure there's enough hot oil to lubricate the rest of the engine but wear the rings sufficiently in the first 20 miles of driving so they follow the contour of the bore better.

thats how i did mine

out of showroom, overtook corsa B, roud corner, overtook Golf TDi, then went 50 threw a 40 speed camera, didnt fash :shame:
