Apparently last week they blew up part of a mountain to make way for a new power plant.

The explosion created a 2 mile wide mushroom shaped cloud of dust.

There is a military base near to where the mountain explosion was.

And it took officials 4 days to come up with an explination for the blast.

Hmmm....

Don't wanna be messing about with that country though. They would just wipe the whole world out with the stuff they have.

Meh, tbh I think the Americans/UK etc would be able to take them but yes, they are a concern with all their armoury - they are a big worry IMO

Korea is a joke, I would not worry about them.

America is the one you should be watching.

What do you mean take the whole world out? The range of nuclear missiles launched at the same time from surface is nothing...wouldn't even reach outside of China. Even if they launched weapons through dropping them from the air, by the time it got to its destination (USA...UK etc) it would have been detected and destroyed.

taken from http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/kn.html

Following World War II, Korea was split, with the northern half coming under Communist domination and the southern portion becoming Western-oriented. KIM Chong-il has ruled North Korea since his father and the country's founder, president KIM Il-song, died in 1994. After decades of mismanagement, the North relies heavily on international food aid to feed its population while continuing to expend resources to maintain an army of about 1 million. North Korea's long-range missile development and research into nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and massive conventional armed forces are of major concern to the international community. In December 2002, North Korea repudiated a 1994 agreement that shut down its nuclear reactors and expelled UN monitors, further raising fears it would produce nuclear weapons.

ICBM's from Korea would be out of date Russian designs which would be slow and easy to shoot down.

The star wars system could detect the ICBM in seconds and have it shot down in minutes.
