gona take it to top gear in aylesbury. not too far from me, and it's got a powerflow system on anyway.
think i'll have the cat removed, and another silencer put in as it was stupidly loud even with the 1.6 in.

should just need a small section to mate the manifold to the mid-section, so shouldn't cost too much.

hoping for about £90 ish, but i'll have to let you know. gona give them a bell tomorrow, and ghopefully get it done this week.

didn't get a piccy of it, but the c16 power steering pump is tied out of the way to the engine lifting eye with a piece of fence wire,

cheers ed, but i have one in the garage.
just never bothered taking off the old one. thought i'd leave it till i'd got the pump bracket from cossvaux and was ready to fit it. to save having the fluid pissing over the drive whilst i swapped the pumps over.

Ahhh, I didnt know what mine was so I pulled it off and got fluid everywhere. You don't know of any vehicle disposal people do you?

yeah, i used saunderton salvage.
they came and got the stripped shell for a score.

there must be some closer to you though that would be willing to come out.

take a look in the back of your weekly local rag.
