would spend as much as you can possibly afford if I were you. Decent suspension will make all the difference...

Save up and buy some coilovers, not FK though as they are pants, if not the koni's and eibach springs are the next best thing

Koni reds (specials) are very good, cheap also, i had mine set on the stiffest setting with bumpstops and the ride was tolerable. Only lowers 40mm also.

considering the let weighs alot, your going to need uprated springs to cope with the additional weight, most spring/shock kits are designed for standard corsas, speak to courtaney sport and tell them how much your willing to spend, they will provide you with some nice springs to cope with the extra weight, and get some decent shocks.

TBH for £250 you aint going to make much of an impact on your Let'd corsa. As the guys above say - you'll want higher poundage springs. I'd recomend 350-380lb from researching the subject and also personal experience with corsa suspension setups.
The best option would be a coilover with 350lb spring but for this you'll be looking at around £450+ for the coiliover kit then an extra £30-£50 for some 350lb springs. I'd say if your really on a budget JUST get the front suspension sorted, see if any manufacturers will supply you just a set of front coilovers. Spax will charge you £50 less for JUST front coilovers compaired with there WHOLE kit so not worth it imo. Check FK, they have some good reviews but are budget.
