Where do you work and how many hours a week?
I've been at my local pub/restraunt for over 4 years now and with college Mon-Wed 8-4 I still manage to do 35-40 hours a week.
I would like a medal
(to be honest in a 10 hour shift, i'll do MAYBE 2 hours work)

I do 15 contracted hours at Tesco, and about 10 - 15 hours in overtime when the shifts are available.
I'm maybe going to start looking for a 2nd p/t job soon tho.

I've got two jobs. Was doing 4 days a week @ Dixons, and 5 nights at a bar Job
About 50ish hours.
Changing now to 1 day, and 3 shifts @ Pub/Club.
Difficult trying to get back into doing Uni work now though

Our tips work out just over £1 an hour (we save them til the end of month, then split them based on hours done)
So on about £5-6 depends how good tips go + bonuses

In my first and second years i worked part time about 15 hours a week and fulltime in the summer. Into my third and final year now though and im not going to work at all, need all the time i can get. Dont really want any distractions.
Tbh if i would do it again i wouldnt have worked in my second year either, would probably have got a 1st.
To people working crazy amounts of hours : Dont bother if you can afford it, put your efforts into study and itll be more beneficial in the long run rather than earning some peanuts in the short term. Could be the difference between a 2:2 and a 2:1 or whatever, just for sacrificing a few beers a week etc
