can anyone tell me why my brakes seem to be squeeling?

Take the pads off and apply some copper grease behind the pads and on the piston - don't get it on the compound or disk though...

If it continues you can make a washer type thing to sit behind the pad out of a coke can, just use the pad as a template and cut around it, drill the holes through the top and refit it all..

also a sign the pads are running low, as there designed to squeel when getting near the end of there life.

also while the pads are out rub the pads of a piece of glass paper on a flatr surface to take of the glaze.

I usually get this on the fronts after a bit of caning. I think its where the surface of the pad glazes over, usually sanding the pads works well but just ignor it as it SHOULD go away. Some pads just do it all the time like Mintex 1144's...

its the materials they use cos there not alowed to asbestos anymore
