My girlfriends corsa is drinking far too much petrol, and every now and then the engine will flood too and it won't start.

I don't really know a great deal about engines etc and the technicalities of a car, so can anyone offer any possible ideas what's wrong with it?

aye looks like coolant temperature sensor causing over fuelling

mine is doing about 22 mpg at the moment!

definately coolant temp sensor . They're only about £20 from vauxhall IIRC I had to change mine a while ago.
