Don't take Beechams - they make your cough worse!
Plenty of water, fresh orange juice and rest other than that there's fook all you can do but suffer! Oh yeah poke tissue up your nose to stop it running

I tried one of those beechams instant powder things once (powder in a packet you put sraight into your mouth) and it was as if i had just drunk a pint of dust. Horrible. Never doing that again!

nothing . all you can do is treat the symptoms. take paracetamol, drink plenty of fluids and keep warm

ive been off work all fuckin week on hol and had a really bad cold
plenty of fluid, vitamin c and rest is all u can do

Well, cheers for the replies guys and girls. Looks like i am stuck with the runny nose for a couple of days then it moves onto stage 2 - the thick stuff.
I would happily pay money to find a cure

asda do some flu tables, take some of them, take 4 and your laffin, your cold will be gone, and you'll be cured.

it says take 2 every 6 hours. take 4 in 2mins and you'll be sorted, maybe take 2 before you go to bed, then if ur still a wee bit on the off side, take another 2 and you'll be fine.,
i had a bad cold, felt really really bad, took 2 of these, then thought fuck it take anohter 2, and i went to sleep, woke up right as rain.

sudafed (sp) tablets got rid of my cold in 2 days but then again i do work in a factory and sweat it out of me lol
