I have about £500 to spend on sub and amp setup.
Was lookingat getting either 2 x 12" or 2 x 15".
I want something with a nice hard hitting baseline.
Currently I have a 12" JBL GTO sub running off of a 4 channel Phillips amp. Hitting about 200W RMS but it just doesn't seem to have thatmuch of a hit to it.
I want something that is going to punch hard, something you can feel through your back and give a good hit outside the car too. The loudest bass system for the money.
Got components and 6x9's all amped up at the moment sojust needtobalance my system up better.

Cheer for the advice mate.
Had a spy of them. Heard good things about them too, just at £200 a sub they are a bit pricey. Leaving me with £100 to find an amp which really aint enough.
The layout I have planned for my setup requires a sub on each side, although if I found something that was definatly powerful enough I could seat just one with a monoblock to run it.
Yet as it stands I am looking for either 2 x 12" or 2 x 15" with a 2 channel amp to power them.

i'm confident you could get a heavy bassline just using a single 12 in the right enclosure... if you want symmetry in the boot then have your sub on one side and amp on the other..

Well Ideally I would run 2 x 15's off of a monoblock each to give them some nice power but being a uni student I am kinda restricted with my funds and £500 is just about my maximum for a sub setup.
I have been considering just running one 15" mounted in the middle of the boot and then surrounding it with amps. Its just I feel I need to fill my boot space with a boot build, I have a civic coupe so space is plentyfull in the boot. Could fit 4 15's in there no problem. So you see my predicament.
