when you lock the car from the drivers side you should feel two motions, the first is locking the car and then the lock deadlocking basically its a security measure

not sure if its possible to do from the passenger side though

once the car is dead-locked, then none of the locks except the drivers can be unlocked. It cant be done from passenger side either.

Also activates my alarm/imob too when I deadlock mine.

Ooooh also when deadlocked, the car cant even be opened up by pulling the lil lock switch inside the car either

not too sure, the imob on it isnt standard tho so might have something to do with it!

the flap locks itself when central locking is used, deadlocks just stop all the other locks from opening, aswell as arm the alarm part of the immobiliser, so if someone smashes a window & tries to start the car or lift the bonnet it then screams!

the receipt i got with the car was for an apollo 2000 or something like that, but is supposed to only be an imob but it screams if I lift the bonnet or try starting with deadlocks on.

Want to change it for a proper cat 1 alarm&imob with total-closure system

you aint the only one I was there for 20 mins trying to figure out why it was jammed didnt want to break it either then went to take the car back to the garage & saw it pop up when I unlocked the car again

I felt sooo thick, glad I was the only one on the forecourt!
