Took my Paxo into Perrys Citroen in Huddersfield on monday for them to sort out my gearbox leak. They had car for two days, and got it back yesterday. Driving home, it crunches into 5th, and then throws itself into neutral. They came for it this morning and said couldnt find a fault! Went out in it again, exactly same. Then service manager took me out in it and said nowt wrong with it, so i drove it then, and sure enough 'crunch'! So he said it needs a new 5th gear synchro, but wouldnt be here till monday. Over this weekend and next week ive gotta do 1000 miles, so at 80mph in the fast lane when the bits of 5th gear get caught up and it locks its box up, its not looking too good for me is it! My mates reckon they've left it out totally, and Perrys had the cheek to say it might be just a coinsedence that 5th gear synchros gone just after they removed 5th gear!! To cut a long story short, Citroen UK were as much help as a chocolate fireguard, and i had to goto Perrys regional director to get the part ordered VOR. Fingers X'd its here tomoro!
Sorry for the essay!

Yes, that's why i went for the Saxo. It's got a few Pug parts but it's not as wel built -- i.e. the seats and paint

I don't think so mate.
One prob i'm having is the car revs up and down sometimes (prob once ever 100 miles). The higher revs is not a prob but it goes as low as 250 RPM and sometimes dies. It's going for a service on Fri so i'm after a new seat and getting them to look at the rev prob. Prob just a sensor somewhere.
DO YOU WANNA SELL YOUR WHEELS
