my cars got a standard vauxhall alarm fitted, and ive also got a cat1 alarm, the past 2 days the alarm has been going off for no apparent reason, the VAUX one not the cat1 alarm, does it do this when the battery is on its way out?

it had a new battery about 4mths ago, well it wasnt brand new got it off my mate

tbh i need a stronger battery cos stereo drains it pretty quickly if i leave it on when parked up

The vauxhall alarm goes off by itself if the power sounder battery is dying - i.e. battery inside the power sounder unit, not main car battery?

Why have both alarms anyway? Just get the vauxhall one taken out if its on the blink?

Get the OE one removed, two alarms won't run happily together. Vaux OE alarms are none to be wank
