Right im just booking my tickets Via GNER for my trip to newcastle for 5 days...

which station is it ??? i have the choice of

NEWCASTLE
NEWCASTLE(METRO)

ok chief
the train station in Newcastle is called Newcastle Central Station
there is a Metro Station within Newcastle Central Station (are you with me...)
the metro is similar to the Tube in London and there are loads of stations in and around the city
i reckon you should be ok - enjoy

depends when he wants to come plus he would have had to fly from stanstead
its only £18 return a few weeks in advance on the train
i flew to london with easyjet the other week and it was a canny bit more than that

depends where he lives/ lost more availability on the train
getting to stanstead + checking in + guaranteed delay + getting bags off at other end + getting a taxi to the city centre is about the same as the train
