i need to take my car to powerflow to have the exhaust fixed but it has no MOT. it wont pass its test unless i have it fixed.
if i get caught am i right in thinking as long as i have proof that it is booked in for the repair & the test & i am on route there i would be let off?
this happened to anyone else? i know if your going to the test centre & you are booked in you will be ok but im not sure about anything else
thanks

Yes this is legal, if u have no mot and get pulled just tell them you are on way to get exhaust fixed so u can get your mot and then on way to mot etc..

if its taxed then you'd probably get away with it if stopped by the police. but if you'd no MOT or tax then they hang you out to dry

chances of being caught are very slim, unless you drive like a nipple

You're allowed to drive without an MOt if you're on the way to either a pre-booked appointment for getting an MOT failure repaired, or a pre-booked appointment for an MOT (re)test.

well at the end of the day you need an exhaust to pass the MOT so you have to get it there either way, i belive you have 14 days to get the car sorted for a retest.
