ive just tried to fit a universal Simota air filter onto my 1.2 8v corsa B, removed the airbox and found out that the actual collar that is on it is too big for the standar hose, its second hand and has come off a 1.4 16v i think.

Is it just a case of taking the collar off as its jubilee clipped on?? and getting one to fit my car?

Help appreciated

Greg

I think its called a reducer not too sure though. I got the induction kit from wheel quick on enfield street in permberton he jus gave it me for free as i took the pipe into the shop with me to make sure it would fit. Shouldnt cost much just a small piece of plastic.

Just get some random hosing and bodge the filter on.
It's a universal piece of turd anyway, so it's no biggie if it doesn't fit properly.

Don't spend too much on the pipe, that way you can save up for a proper foam filter
