I have the ATE callipers on my Corsa, I'm using the same Corsa resevoir........I'm told if i need more responsive brakes eg:less spongy then a bigger resevoir will help, has anyone had one fitted, if so....which one fits!?

as far as I know mate ALL the resevoirs are the exact same, it your worried about brake pedal feel then fit a set of braided lines

I've just had new grooved discs, pads, fluid and brake seals fitted yesterday, got it back today...........its alot better but I just dont like that spongy feel from the brakes...........I'll have to try some braided hoses then!

technically both, got a set in my boot which i wana put on my car, and a set on my other car doing nothing as it has no engine

yoy shouldnt have any spongy feel with ATE calipers mine are fine with normal brake lines and peadal feel is nice too...steer clear of V6 set ups

I'll have to do some investigating then! I havent been to pick my motor up, just what the bloke told me when he said he had finished it, they might be ok to me, i'll have to see.

Think he might mean servo, but don't see ti being a issue, as nova's have smaller servo's and are fine. The spongeiness is either poor bleeding on the fluid change, or the master need new seals putting.

providing that the brakes have been bleed correctly then the brakes will feel slightly spongey due to the pads and disks been new. give it a couple of hundredf miles and itll be ok

i would recomend braided brakes line, have them on my ATE setup, tis soooo much better

Use an ATE brake servo too to get even better braking though

Picked the motor up, got my green stuff pads and disks on, new rear seals and front, new cv boots as they were split and spraying grease on my disks, new dot 4 fluid, new cam shaft seals..........all going good now! Brakes are alot better, less spongy...........although the green stuff pads and disks really take affect when they have plenty of heat in em!

They steam cleaned my wheels, checked the entire engine over all for about nothing only because i took it to my old man's plant department!

i had ate calipers they were very very good
