get back from uni friday night and go to start the car!
Nothing dead battery great!
So charge that up and head off to see mates.
get back home and pop to get some food,
on the way back my alternator fins were rubbing on the case like they have done lots of times before!
Then all dash lights went out and the battery and handbrake light came on!
I thought o shit alternator belt snapped!
Pulled over - sure enough alternator belt sanpped!
So limped the 1/2 mile back home!
Down to vaux this morning £5 new belt!
So thought sod it il clean all the block and anti roll bar and all the engine bay!
Put away and wait for new bits to arrive!!

Does the car work with no alternator? I always wondered this because surely the ECU needs power to make everything work properly and the fuel pump needs to run too... Guess you had power in the battery to run the car for a little...
