wot should i do had cold water before but was gonna try tropical so brought a heater but dunno if i can be bothered with all the hassle heres a pic of the tank at the min

Get some nice bright blue / yellow fish in there... it's the way forward

my dad has some tropical fish in a hooooooj tank. it bzzes and annoys the shit out of me when im watching the tv.

yesh that is mine. its still empty at the mo but i think im gonna go buy some fish tomorrow

sand is easier than the little pebbles cos all old food & shit gets in between the stones. make sure you buy the sand from a pet shop though! dont be using building sand

sand looks better too

i aint had any fish for bout a month now think its best i get sum wot kinda plants u gonna go for ? i had proper plants in my cold water tank so mite get sum in this

depends what fish you buy


for example if you buy clown loach they are little fuckers that munch through the plants in no time - so buy fake ones


i think im gonna buy some real ones though

i had fish that help keep it clean but i think they have died. Will get some new ones when i get my student loan as i am broke til then.

clown fish are marine fish and take even more looking after.

tropical are easy to keep

tropical fish are alot easier to keep. the heated water means less diseases etc. easy fish to keep include guppies, tetras, mollies. if you go into your pets at home near you they'll give you all the advice you need. nice tank tho but how comes you've got a fluval cabinet but no fluval tank??

mine, gotta get another pic now that fish are in.

now have:
10 tiger barbs
10 cardinal tetra
2 schwarz cory catfish
2 pygmy gobies
4 zebra danios

and another tank with convict cichlids

i bought 1 of these



and it ate 7 of my other fish in a day

idiot stoner lad who works @ local aquatic centre told me they would be ok. he was about to whitey i could tell :Lol:

u should see em when they have eggs to protect, one of the best fish to watch

they dig pits in the gravel too
