Thinking of buying this http://caraudiosecurity.com/catalog/product_info.php+products_id+2663
Its Infinity: Reference 12" deal
Package includes:
Infinity RA-7502 220W RMS amplifier
Infinity Reference 1230w 12" 1000W (250W RMS) subwoofer
12" sub-box

Im not an ice nutter, just want a bit of bass. My mate has a 10" sony sub, and itd good, but not quite enough, so thought 12" would be a good bet, and not take up too much room

On this subject would this be worth a purchase? http://caraudiosecurity.com/catalog/product_info.php+cPath+60_98_170+products_id+2230
Just wondering as I want bass but i want some clearness aswell if you know what i mean not just thud thud. and ive been told apline are good for this. plus the 10inch will take up lees space and i listyen to dance and hip hop and anyhting apart from noise so this should be okay coping with the fast dances beast that a 12" wouldnt.
cheers for opinions

dunno much about crunch amps but i know alpine 10's do give a punchy sound, so yeah give it a try its pretty cheap and the amp is rated with a good power output...

hiya, my advice would be to stay away from the infinity reference amp.The gain dial on mine snapped today and was rolling about inside the amp.I have the amp right here infront of me and can tell you that, the outta casing is made well, but the coponents are very cheap (also got the casing undone to fetch the dial!)....ive only had mine 2 weeks!

type E are grey....
type S are blue
typre R are red
supposibly better the further up the range u get, but the new DVC type S are meant in practice to be nigh on as good as type R's for a fair bit less cash.
