rite had to take my alloys off today as they had 2 bald tyre on the front after some harsh drving with a few mates in there cars on out private road. but neway when i took them off i though i would actually check the offset of the wheels.
it turns out they are et 35, i have a corsa b and cant be arsed to buy some new ones so do u reckon that it would be ok to lower about 60 mm on the et 35 alloys or would it take too much work?
soz for essay
cheers nath

tbh you'll have a lot of rubbing or a lot of arch work to do, i had mine down 60mm on et39 16" 1945/45 tyres and they rubbed like bastards.

i was down 60mm on et38's...
had to knock the rear inner-arch a bit with hammer & de-bolt the arches, but other than that was fine!
but, each corsa could be a bit different & et35 is a bit worse than mine was!

The way out offset probably explains why your tyres are bald, did they wear on the insides?

having the wrong offset changes the point that the tyre/wheel pivots so they are turning on the edge rather than centre
