Ball hit my thumb hard and new something was wrong as bone at bottom of thumb was stcking out...

went to hospital and confirmed broke the bone at the base of mt thumb....

got it stapped up and in sling at moment..got to go back tomorrow and they will either manipulate the bone back into place or will need an operation tomorrow to repair and fit metal pin....

getting a full elbow to hand plaster cast on tomorrow either way...
it's fecking agony.....
it's my right hand too and i'm right handed.....can't do nothing..wife had to cut up my tea and tie my shoe laces...

bone is displaced by 20 degrees.........

looks like i will have cast on over xmas..4-6 weeks..........

Scaphoid? i busted mine running for a train and took a corner too quick, over some leaves and lost traction ass over tit and snap. had the cast on for 6 weeks and still wasnt healed after so when they put on the third cast i got home a cut it off. never went back seems to have healed alright though.

i broke my big toe during a 5-a-side footy training sesh, i was in the goal n the ball bounced off my big toe as i dived the wrong way, hospital said they can't do anything for toes

well just back from hospital and thank god don't need an op the now...
got full cast on for 3 weeks and then they will check it again..

just handed line into work for 3 weeks.....lazy days.............. painful though....

LOL, i think my jaw is few cm to the left, playing footie last nite (play 2 matches every sunday). and sum dick irish guy shouldered me in the jaw as he ran past. Got free kick tho
