got my practical soon, just a few questions....
1. Is it ok to stop at a junction or roundabout even if you can see its clear ?
2. when i'm driving if i keep checking my mirrors every say three seconds is that ok , like you wont get marked down for looking to much ?
3. If you get one menovour (sp) wrong, do you fail?
Any Tips any one has got please post thank you

you wont fail for stopping once if its clear, but they will give you a bad mark for hesitating. too many bad marks and you fail. Not sure on the others

they WILL fail you for anything that is not 100% perfect, if you stop at a junction and its clear you WILL fail, for a)lack of observation, b)not making sufficent progress, first time i got failed because some one else stalled there car n i had to stop in a keep clear box, second time i got failed for skimming my tyre of a kerb, the examiner even sed "your drivin is to a very high standard but i'm gona have top fail you"
they are bastards

Bullshit, you can have 15 minor faults before you fail, but more than 3 for the same thing and its a major.
You shouldnt fail for stopping even though a roundabout is clear although you might get a minor for lack of observation.
If you fuck up a manouver (ie. hit the kurb, or cross into the other bay with bay parking) then you will fail. But there isn't anything wrong with going forward again and starting again.

I hesitated at a junction, and just got 1 minor becuase of it...
i later explained I felt like I was getting cramp in my leg & the instructor then wiped the minor off
but like red says, they wont fail you for stopping at a junction like that, but check your mirrors probs every 7 seconds... 3 seconds is a bit excessive & they may do you for not paying full attention on the road ahead - it does happen!

You have to hit the speed limit at least once and go no faster to show you know the limit for that road/area. If conditions allow obviously.

but you will still fail wont you
If yoiu've already hit the kurb or crossed the line then you will still fail, but if you think you're about to fuck it up there is nothing wrong with going forward and starting again

IF you go forwards and start again it'll act in your favour, because they'll see that you recognised it was going wrong. I failed enough driving tests to know this.

i did loads of fuk ups on my test but still passed some how. approaching a roundabout i forgot to use the clutch to change gear and it just poped into neutral and i rolled away round the roundabout. but because i didnt panic and controled the situation, it was only a minor fault
