Was having a bit of a race with a Focus in the wet with a friend in the passenger seat and I said the famous words - Watch this! Next thing I know I'm facing the wrong way on a roundabout.
I've needed new rear tyres for a while now so I think I may go and get some tomorrow!
Ah well no damage so it's all good fun.

Feel sorry for your mate more than anyone?
I've spun my car when I'm the only witness before and I've not given a shit. But I've spun my car with a mate in it - and the mate shat himself and refused to get in my car for ages, until I started driving like a complete granny again ...
Pff...

I'd just picked my mate up from the pub so he found it hilarious!
It was the embarassment of loosing to a Focus that was worst. Oh the shame...

Cheers mate but it's so fun to drive I can't help it!
I had some cool suspension mods done on Friday and now it takes the piss how well it handles - it's just my rear tyres are really sh*t in the wet so it's forever stepping out. It's such a familiar roundabout too so I took it for granted and it caught me out. D'oh!

never spun it before (not sure my car is capable of them speeds :lol.
never mind having a close call in the car on my own, but when I have people in the car I feel terrible if I do something as little as brake too hard!

Only had one serious spin in 5 years. Exiting motorway came on to big roundabout leading to another motorway, wet road. Went under bridge where road was dry, found plenty of grip till I came out and it literally spun the moment it hit the wet stuff again. Late at night though so hit no one was around and luckily missed the curb. Later found I had 5psi in back tyre, which probably didn't help either!

I agree, but sometimes sh*t happens. We all drive a little too fast sometimes, my only excuse was that it was late at night so at least there was only the Focus that was near me.
